Re: Plumeria

It's in the front patio. We're cutting it down because it's outgrown its welcome. It was the first one we planted and, over the years, as we pruned it, we've planted some of the prunings elsewhere in the yard--so we have four or five of its children scattered around. The guy who's painting the house will probably take the heavy branches, so not must viable material will be lost.

I am with you Kitty, would be nice, but doubt it would survive - even in the
house- in zone cold... oh well...

So Jim, why are you cutting it down - or are you just pruning it back? Are
they considered a common plant in your neck of the woods?

I've seen the pics, and they are truly lovely. I doubt I'd be able to
keep
one alive though. But thanks anyway for the offer Jim.

We have a large P. rubra [frangipani; blood red], which we will be
cutting
down in the next day or two. It will yield about 20 or so cuttings. Let
me
know if you'd like some.
