Re: does this page make sense?

I've grown Oenothera speciosa from seed and it's quite easy in any soil. However, it self sows, with abandon, so I yanked it before it got too troublesome.

I've had some Gauras. My first, the species, G. lindheimeri, was a terrible pest magnet. Nothing I did was of any use. So I didn't grow any for many years. Then I got a compact newer cultivar a couple of years ago and it did very well, but I sold it. May have to think about getting another.

And now that I look at it, it says "Ideal ground cover, especially in dry,
poor soil" and also "Give it rich soil". Hmmm.
I see the oenothera growing around here - don't know if it's this exact one,
but it looks like it - and it definitely takes over. Pretty in bloom though.

They must have the title wrong. The picture looks like Oenothera, not
gaura.
