Re: anybody planting out there?

What a contrast! We are having another very early spring. When we first
moved to East Tennessee, we used to have four distinct seasons and I miss
them. The daffodils have been blooming for three weeks, the willows are
leafing out, vinca is blooming, candytuff has started, daylilies are poking
up...I can hardly catch up. In addition, we are over one winter month's
shortfall in rain...it is so dry that I am having to water constantly to
keep things alive. This is very unusual for ETN, which normally gets
around 12 inches of precipitation during early winter. Forecast for today
is that we MAY have a sprinkle.
