Re: dogs/lost/new grandson

No news on Tramp, I am still looking, but not counting on him coming back.
However, I'm happy to announce the birth of Braxon on the ides of March. Mom & baby are doing well, cardiologist hopes they can delay his surgery 'til he is 5 or so. I've been staying at the hospital with my daughter the last couple of days. To run up to NICU to check on him & generally fetch & carry. May be able to bring both home tomorrow or Sunday. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kitty" <kmrsy@comcast.net>

I may have missed a message or two. Any word on your dog Judy?

Still lost. I talked to a man yesterday who saw a little gray dog a block south of me about the time we think he went missing. At this point I hope he has been picked up by someone who loves dogs & will either try to find his owner or find him a good home. I'm refusing to dwell on the coyotes & owls etc. that frequent the fields a few blocks south. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pam Evans" <gardenqueen@gmail.com>

Oh dear - I hate that! Hope you have found him by now. I'd be beside
myself w/ worry.

Knock on doors, put up flyers even if you don't have a picture, keep
calling any and all shelters in the vicinity, put a lost ad in the
paper. You can also put a notice in Petfinder (www.petfinder.com), can't
hurt.

My son let the dogs out while I was at work, didn't watch them & then
took off to give his nephew a ride to a meeting. When I got home a
couple hours later, one was home & one was missing. Grrr.
I've left a message with the Humane Society, called the Police, and
walked around the block calling. I don't have a good picture of him,
haven't been able to reach his former owner to borrow one of hers. Any
suggestions on finding lost dogs?
It's pouring rain & chilly tonight, but not freezing, thank goodness.
The police got a report of a small dog a few blocks away from here, but
couldn't find it. Will probably walk around over there tomorrow.
Had a great day at home yesterday, DH & I cleaned up the back yard &
flower borders. 67F, sunny, perfect day to be outside. The dogs followed us around eating walnuts when we stepprd on them. Crocus are in bloom &
daffodils in bud, neighbor's daffs are blooming against her west-facing
wall. She never sees them, I sure enjoy them. My mom-in-law planted them
years ago when she lived there. Spring is here off & on.
