Working from home for the foreseeable future. Thankful I can do that. My 83 year old mother is staying with us so we are trying to keep her as protected as possible. My husband is a custodian at one of the high schools here so he is getting extra pay for the duration as he is one of the only school district employees still having to show up for work everyday. My daughters are nursing assistants at the hospital and having to work with extremely limited PPE so I worry about them A LOT.
It snowed here Sunday. I had to have my elderly dog put down that night. They weren't letting humans into the building because of Covid-19 so they took him inside to put the IV in then brought him back out to my car. I'm standing outside in the middle of a heavy wet snowstorm with my hatchback open, cuddling with him while the vet injected him. I didn't want him to die alone with no one there who loved him. He was a good boy and lived a good long life. His pneumonia was not responding to antibiotics. It was the right decision for him.
I need spring to get here so I can get back into my gardens. That will help.My son and his wife bought a house this winter and they're asking me for help in planning their gardens...so that's been fun.
Take care all and stay healthy!

We’re shut in as well. I’m doing things I never have time to do - and lots of deep cleaning. I wish the sun would come out and the rain would ease up so I can weed my gardens and plant some seeds! But we’re good!
