RE: Yahoo! Photos: tchessie's photo(s)

Well, I'm going to the grocery store now, so we'll see if they are still
there.  But really, I have to rip up more grass if I'm going to buy anything
else.  But I don't have the cash right now to put in more windsor wall
blocks to hold the soil from running right off the slope of the yard into
the street.  I bought 2 5-gallon sized oregon grapes this AM- they were only
$11 each.  I'm trying to find some iris to try in my wet area out front.
The yellow callas clearly hate it there- in fact they are rotting.  So on to
plan B.

Oh, and I clearly am guilty of color scrutiny-  I have yanked out everything
pink that was next to the house out front (they were all given away, well
except the crepe myrtle tree that I did give away, but it died anyway)-
clashed horribly with the color brick.  Orange should be fine though- since
my America rose looks great with the brick.

Ah!, The long-coveted Ornithogalum dubium!  Years ago, Van Bourgondien
showed it in their catalogue as hardy to Zone 3.  Couldn't believe it.
Called and they said "no, that's a misprint."  I woner how many suckers
jumped on that one.  FIND a plance for it, Theresa.  Nature doesn't
scrutinize the color wheel, why should you?
