Thanks, Kitty for all the information. Now I think I will include this in
the container plantings in my breezeway where I have a large collection of
plants in pots. I'm glad to know what to do with it, as no one at the plant
sale seemed to know anything about it. I'm a sucker for anything different,
but you really get some neat things that way sometimes. It's great that this
group provides information and advice on just about anything one needs to
know.
Another goodie I came home with is Viola 'Dancing Geisha.' Any info on that
one? This one had a commercial tag that describes it as having "deeply cut,
marbled" leaves. Doesn't really look like a violet at all, but is really
attractive. I hope it will spread, as one plant is rather insignificant. At
$6.00 a plant, I couldn't really afford to fill a bed with them. I think I
will keep that in a container for a while, too, until I see what it might
amount to.
