Hello to all!
Well, it's raining again here! I have a whole nursery's worth of things
to plant, but it's pouring! This spring I've been photographing
individual plants and making databases for each of my gardens whenever I
have some down time. I really need to get my house organized "post
fire", but they are still finishing the construction and they said it's
best to wait until the carpets are installed to start unpacking. It's
very frustrating!
Yesterday I purchased a new dicentra formosa 'Bacchanal' which has
deeper red flowers. They are almost maroon. Here's a link to a photo
on Chris' site:
http://www.hort.net/gallery/view/fum/dicfoba/. I also got Agastache
'Red Fortune' and a rally beautiful heuchera 'Cherries Jublilee'. The
coral bells has maroon foliage and deep salmon pink blooms. I love
agastache and the color of this cultivar is beautiful! See:

I also am making labels for some of my collections. I'm using zinc Eon
rose markers and using my Brother p-Touch to make labels for the
markers. They look very nice and won't be as ugly as the white labels I
have all over the garden! Right now I've marked all of my hostas and a
few of my daylily beds.
I realized that I need to take more photos of my gardens from a
distance. My digital images seem to be better in the close-ups. I
think I will try to use the manual instead to the automatic feature on
my Nikon Cool Pix 995. Anybody have any suggestions?
I've posted some May pics in my briefcase at Yahoo:

Hope you're out gardening!
