gardenia buds!

Well the gardenia has buds on it now!  It's a small one (Radicans) in
a
pot, but it has at least ten or twelve buds on it!  I'm so excited.  Mother
had
one as a houseplant that she started from a cutting in Richmond (where my
brother
&I were born) and by the time I was a teenager it totally filled the big
double
window in the front of the house.  When it was blooming the whole downstairs
smelled
like Heaven.  I've wanted one ever since. Splurged on one this March.  I watch
those
buds fatten every every day now and it's the first thing I check besides Sugar
when
I get home.  This will give my homemade potpourri a whole new dimension, I
can't
wait!!
