Kitty, I recognized your plant as Justicia right away but have not had the 
time to reply.  This is a plant that our botanical center frequently uses in 
their displays and then sells at the used plant sales for just a few dollars.  I 
have often purchased them but not in the past few yrs or since I have a garden 
room so I was forced to toss them at the end of a season.  They commonly 
refer to them as Kings Crown.  Logees has the Justicia Carnea in pink & white.
