New bed - I put down newspapers (thick layer, dampened) and cedar mulch
- about 3" worth. Established beds, top off (3 or 4 times a year) w/
cedar mulch and sawdust from neighbor John's woodshop. Except for the
xeriscape herbs which get a pea gravel mulch as they prefer.
