You have my sympathy, Sue.  I seem to have been a magnet for nutty neighbors 
through the years.  The current one is mild compared to a couple I've had.  
I'm glad you were able to move.  That's the advantage of being a renter.
On a more cheerful note, I know some very nice people on Staten Island, who 
are also good gardeners.  If you are interested in a garden club I could put 
you in touch.
