Your daughter has made a wise choice. Riva has one of the best crab houses on the western shore.

I suggest that she needs to learn the identify of the plants that she has, and to evaluate their characteristic growth and blooming habits within the perimeters of her own interests.

That way, she will be able to evaluate each and decide whether they fit into her vision of a garden and landscape or not.

I think asking third parties to make decisions about one's habitat is, well, generally rueful.
