RE: tornadoes in Colorado
Hi Betsy-
Being completely annoyed with my job right now, I was looking around at
other options (not seriously- but more curious)- so anyway there is a job in
Ft Collins Colorado. Can you tell me what is it like there? (climate, cost
of living, sociopolitical climate?)

Hi all!
I am alive and well and did not get a(e)ffected by twirlies. From the
Garden Center I can watch the thunder heads build up and slide to the
east...knowing that something is going to get clobbered.
The Garden Center is situated about two miles from the beginning of the
foothills so twirlies are rare...but we will often get hail which is not
good for the plants. It really makes me laugh inside when a customer brings
me holey or shreaded leaves and wants to purchase a spray to kill the inscet
that is doing it. When I tell them that it is hail damage, oftren time their
response is " But it did not hail at my house" The perp has melted away
by the time they get home of course.
I am having a day off today...yipee AND its not snowing or raining. I am
3 for 4 on bad days off. Ended up doing housework.
I have squeezed in the planting of the cool season crops and have one
tomato under the Wall O' Water. Poor tomato thing got snowed under last
thursday and the WoW keep it from dying.
Happy Gardening!!
