You bet!  I guess it just depends on what you've grown up with.  I have some 
shelter from severe weather in my closet, but the hurricane shelter for the FL 
Keys and Key West is north of Miami -- well over a hundred miles via a 
two-lane highway.  And earthquakes? Forget about it.
