Kitty, I just downloaded one of you ceea ["See ya!"] pictures, jumped it to 1,000 pixels wide, and still don't recognize it. Thought before I enlarged it, it might be a Chinese rubrum [Loropetalum chinense] but no cigar.

A couple weeks back I asked if anyone new this plant from my vague
description. Stumped Jim. But now I have PICTURES! All I know is that
it's probably tender as it grows in Florida. The nursery owner said an
Hispanic laborer gave it to her there and the only name he knew was Red
Ceea. Googling brings up nothing. Anyone care to give it a try?
