David, is it really pink in color or is it called "pink" for another reason?
What else would it attack besides hibiscus?

Apparently Fl. now has something called Pink Mealy Bug. No, it wasn't
imported from San Francisco. This critter has caused some disturbance in
the Hibiscus folks. They are doing spot spraying because they're afraid it
might start spreading.
