Theresa, Bayer 2/1. Same active ingredient as in flea collars. Imidicloriprid. Systemic and works for months.
They also make a product called Tree and Shrub. Originally for roses and I use it on my hibs.

I guess I didn't notice that is was very wet here- just seemed sort of normal (but rememer my version of normal is northeast weather, not central valley weather). I do know I'm having big aphid problem here! They have totally attacked my apple tree the worst. Help! Any suggestions to get rid of them? I've tried organic- no luck. Now what?? The new leaves are just mangled- this can't be good for the tree!
