Hey Jim
I have a varigated one. Very nice. The calyx is magenta the flower is a bright yellow/orange and the center inside is magenta. It's a floppy plant not tall. Only stands about 3' high. Like I said I have five or six different flavors.

Wonder why we don't see abutilons here? They're kind of a nifty plant, especially the variegated faux-maple one. Notice that J.L. Hudson, earth's most cantankerous seedman, has A. vitifolium listed as "new" this year; large blue and white mallow-like flowers he says; from coastal Chile.

I have a few and I'm sorry I have long forgotten their varietal names but one is pink and is about 12' tall. Yes, they stay all year and bloom just about the entire time.

David, how tall do your Abutilons get? Do they stay in the garden all year?
