Gourd

Thanks for the advice about the bottle gourd, Jesse. I put it in the ground and gave it a taut string from a ground staple to a bougainvillea vine 4 or 5 feet above it. It has embraced the string like a long-lost lover and is crawling upward at a rate of about 6 inches per day. Male flowers are forming on the lower stem. This is exciting. If I look at it, will I slow it down? :)
