I agree. Mine is huge (for a cherry) after 20+ years. In bloom for April and
sometimes into May. Then shed. pink blossoms on the grass which dry up to
nothing. Provides nice shade & privacy all summer, then bright yellow &
orange fall leaves that hold their color after falling too. Interesting
trunk, bark & silhouette for the winter garden. See the pictures on Marge's
