RE: gardens of LA area


Yes, that's the one. They're going to reopen it, maybe next year I guess,
but it's been closed for quite a long time now. I went there once too, it
was really a nice place. The new one is huge, a grand edifice, and not the
same experience at all. 

Kitty - if your list friend likes museums she might also like the Norton
Simon museum in Pasadena. No garden to speak of there but a big collection
of Asian art. She might recognize it even, if she watches the Rose Parade.

Is the museum in Malibu the one that's a copy of the villa excavated in
Pompeii? I got to see it a few years ago when we went to visit kids & grand
kids. Beautiful building, lovely gardens and site.
