Yews

Tricia,

I limbed up a yew, too. It was about 20+ feet in diameter. Actually, there
were two of them. I left one more intact to form a back drop to a new
garden. I built a low wall around half of the limbed up yew to create a bit
of elevation change in my mostly flat garden. I discovered that this yew was
already planted on a bit of a mound when I pruned out the lower branches.
I'm really pleased with the structural effect that has resulted!

I'll send photos when I'm further along in the planting.
