Re: Gaura

I've grown the species G. lindheimeri and a cultivar G. 'Crimson
Butterflies'.  The species stayed erect but was constantly covered with
aphids, I eventually ripped it out.  'CB' is a compact variety and arched
nicely; did not flop, no bugs.

Re your Gaura lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink', MOBOT says: "Flowering stems may
become leggy and flop, particularly when grown in rich soils or too much
shade."  A leaner soil might solve your problem.
