Re: Hydrangea Madness

Daryl, so far it's compact and tight, but I suspect it won't stay that way.
This is only its second year in the ground. When I got it, as I mentioned
it was in a 3 gal pot and it was about 4 feet tall in the pot. It is a
mophead, and the blooms were some of the biggest I've ever seen, pale pink.
After I tried to kill it, I cut it back. It's looking really good. I'll let
you know how it progresses. Right now it's sort of low and spreading. I
wonder if it had been sprayed with some major growth hormone while in the
nursery............................
