RE: Salvia "Wild Thing' seedlings
Hi Pam,
Just want you to know I've renewed my "rain dancing" just for you. Could be
a flood, you never know. What is the zone for your wild things, do you
think they'd make it in Northern Z-5? Hope you get wet, Rich

I have three very small (about 2") Wild Thing seedlings coming up in
Tony's bed I was weeding tonight. Who wants them, raise your hand!!
Check High County Gardens for hardiness info, I keep giving all my
catalogs away! They seem to do fine in barely amended clay, I
suspect they'd do even better in good soil. This one is about 3 1/2
feet tall by wide. Hummers ADORE these plants. It's their first stop
out back and up front. One was less than a foot from Sugar up front
feeding yesterday evening. Thank goodness she was sound asleep.
Xeriscape plants so won't do well w/ too much water - not a problem
here - but might be for some of y'all.
