OT: grumble, grumble

So, now that I've laughed enough to be social again- thought I'd vent to you all. I took the morning off from work to get my furniture for my home office delivered. A wonderful bookcase with glass doors and a computer armoire (so I can hide the giant mess). So, they come and deliver the armoire and announce that the bookcase will not go into my office. I made them take it off the truck and try anyway- but they were right! ARGHHH! I loved that bookcase- that was the whole point of getting the armoire, so that it matched! So, I had to send them and the bookcase away. After initially being so @#$#%#@@$ that I was going to send everything back, I to a moment and calmed down and decided to keep the armoire and hunt for another bookcase later.

So- my DH is still in Mexico (although he apparently has an upper respiratory infection, so he is whining way too much and he can't scuba dive- which is what he went on the trip for), and in the mean time all umpteen zillion books that were in my office are now all over his desk and floor in his office. He'll just be delighted with this when he gets home of Thursday....

I need either chocolate, a strong margarita (no salt), or perhaps that lovely vanilla flavored cognac Chris introduced me to.....
