My only micro-climate area seems to get all the way to an honest Z-5.

Just checked the HCG website and they list is as z 6-10.  Sorry about that.
It's a great plant.  Do you have a warmer protected micro-climate area
anywhere on your property?   Thanks for the rain dance sir!  We're
getting pretty desperate here.
