Looking for a suggestion for a zone 5 garden. 

Currently there are daylilies against the fence (which you see from the
other side), then some hibiscus (large ones, southern belle type in white,
red and pink) and about a 1 1/2 to 2 foot border that needs something!

Suggestions for something that would be impressive June/July to color up the
area and instead of the weeds that usually take over that space?
