Mine are still quite small and will not reach maturity during my lifetime, but I enjoy planting for future generations. I also like plants with historical significance. George Washington planted KY Coffee trees at Mount Vernon. The best thing about them, so far, is the deer do not appear to like them.

Zem, the coffee tree is one that is on the ISU forestry list for trees
suitable for our climate.
