trimmer/edgers?

I know there was a discussion here last summer about the
virtues of some brand of trimmer/edger, but I can't remember
which.  I think I have persuaded my DH to get one.  I really
can't do the job with scissors  any more.  He is such a 
technophobe  - had one once that he couldn't make work
right, so   has refused to have one ever since.  Of course
he doesn't do the edging, either.
