Re: powder puff mimosa

How interesting, Jim. I am a native plant fan, and have always thought this
to be an interesting looking plant. It is not used at all here, in fact it
invades many lawns so it is regarded as a serious "weed". I have one in my
native flower bed, but have to keep an eye on it, never fails, everyone
either points it out or tries to pull it for me.
Glad to know it is appreciated somewhere.

Powder puff mimosa; ground cover. I think it's native to Texas.

Used a lot around here because once it's established, it's drought
tolerant.
