Gout plant

Went out to check the bloom spikes on the Amazon lily just now [not open yet], and discovered a baby gout plant [Jatropha podagrica] growing in a bed near where we used to have a large one growing in a pot. It's really a neat plant, but since it's native to South Africa, or some place other than here, guess I ought to alert the plant cops to its invasive nature. It would really be terrible if these fat little funny looking plants took over Southwest Florida and chased out some of our attractive natives, such as the wax myrtle or the simpson stopper.
