Thanks for the links Chris. Such a shame, but the writing was on the wall. You could tell it was coming from the changes they had been making.
I agree that even though Burpee will still market under the Heronswood name, it won't be the real Heronswood at all.

  They're just shutting down the physical nursery.  The online presence
  will remain.  Shipping, etc. is moving to Burpee's main office.
