That's probably right, Zem--about the bird, I mean. It's a pretty flower on a scratchy, weedy plant. They look great for 3-4 years, then go phttt. At least here. In NorCal, my mother had some nice ones for 20+ years. And, no, it wasn't because she took care of them. Her Idea of taking care of a plant was to stick it in the ground.
