Put in a few new plants today--all in pots. Thyme, another dill, another arugula, sugarcane, and a "Corno di Toro" sweet pepper. The bull's horn is supposed to be the largest of the non-bell stuffing peppers; it was introduced by Seeds of Change a few years ago. We got all the plants, except the sugarcane, from the herb guy at the farmer's market this morning. He's got really nice, big, healthy plants at reasonable prices--almost everything is 1-gallon size at $3.00 per. Not organic--he fertilized with MiracleGro--but he doesn't use pesticides, only soap ["Spray in on once a week in the evening. Wash it off in the morning."]
