Silene Clifford Moor is of the S. dioica species which is a semi-evergreen perennial. My loss occurred after dividing it, maybe didn't get it back in the ground soon enough to establish before winter.

But aren't most silene's really bi-annual?

Donna, the other silene I have had were annuals that I started from seed and yes they do reseed. Clifford did not do that and his foliage color was the
big attraction for me.
