Cyndi, good question. My older cat Gemma is my Fat Cat. She eats the outdoor cat food and the indoor cat food. Not so bad in the summer as everyone is on "lite" food, but in the winter I give the outdoor cats regular food so they can be more protected against the cold, and Gemma scarfs it down. I have no remedy, although at times when I've thought the indoor cats were eating too much, I have at least taken the food up at night.

Just remembered something I meant to ask, I hope the non-cat owners can
stand another round of cat chat. For those of you with multiple cats -
what's your feeding strategy? One of the kittens we took in last summer
(now 9 months old) is eating herself into obesity. I've always left dry
food out free choice and never had a problem until now; how do I keep
her from hogging it all but still make sure the other 3 get what they
want?
