More or less settled in. I'm not quite used to the idea of having a "last frost date" yet, but now that that has past, I can forget about it for awhile. Yeah, a friend in LA wrote "Welcome to the Best Coast." I'd somewhat forgotten how different it is culturally from the East, not to mention from the South.

Yeah... sounds like it would be
fun to go and just rummage around. No
clue about large leaf-small leaf,
though. That is a characteristic
difference between rhododendrons and
azaleas all right, but I also
seen rhododendrons with what I thought at the
time were much smaller
leaves than I would have expected; I've also seen
them without their
flowers in those characteristic clusters.
