Sounds great, Jim. I thoroughly enjoyed quite a few classes I took in the Landscape Hort dept at Merritt College in Oakland. Lots of great info, printed and otherwise.

Local community college--Chemeketa--has accepted me as a student, so now I'm going to enroll in a summer CE class "New and Exotic Fruits in Landscapes." Might be fun. Depending on how that goes, I may try the school's degree program--AA degree, that is--in horticulture. What better way to learn about the new place and minimize the opportunities to get into trouble.Island Jim Willamette Valley 44.99 N 123.04 W Elevation 148' Hardiness Zone 8/9 Heat Zone 5 Sunset Zone 6 Minimum 0 F [-15 C] Maximum 86 F [30 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
