Nope, not slow at all when a dog's chasing them. I suspect a chicken would
be fairly easy prey for them. Critters, it's always something.

Chickens don't move around well at night. 'Possums do.  They're actually not

slow when they want to move.

The only natural predator of 'possums other than coyotes that I know of is a

neighbor with a shotgun.
