My sister drowned in flood waters after driving past a barricade.  I'll
never understand why she tried that.  Here is a link to the story:

I have never seen Pryor (which is 10-15 minutes from my house) so flooded in my entire life. My parents have lived there for over 30 years and never saw it this bad. We had 23 days of rain. The day before my sister died, Pryor 
had 9 inches of rain in less than two hours.  My husband and I were there
when they were searching for her car and body and had to tell my parents
what happened. They were on vacation and driving back after getting a call 
from the police department.  So, after that was the funeral and tons of
people, then having to clean out her personal things in her apartment,
adopting her "only child" (the parrot)...then the media decided to air the
911 call after my parents lost the battle in court to NOT have it released, 
which just poured lemon juice in the cut for the entire family.
*sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh*  it has been a very stressful month for me.

I certainly agree with you about this being a bad month. Last Wed evening I 
stepped down into my garage and somehow twisted my foot under me breaking
it in 3 places. I was taken to Champaign (35 mi)in an ambulance. Yesterday

had surgery on it and they put it all back together with nuts and bolts and a metal plate. ..outpatient surgery! You may recall...I make my living as a landscaper..design AND installation. Could the timing of all this be worse? Haven't worked out what I am going to do with all the jobs I have lined up 
but I'm sure it will work out if I can find some competent help. On theup
side, my fingers and nails have not been this clean for months!! Kathy
