More chilly gloom here. Nothing traumatic or dramatic. Rain, a little hail now and then. Sprinkler irrigation guy--Ben--has been here for a couple of days, refurbishing the system and hooking the lines in the backyard up to the same controller that runs the lines in the front yard. He also hooked the drip lines I installed a couple of years ago into the system. Now we're ready for that 4-5 week midsummer dry season when we'll see the sun and the thermometer will crack 80. Never thought I'd feel nostalgic about hurricane season.

Just catching up on my emails. We had snow last week. Today - strong gusty winds, whipping mature trees around like saplings all afternoon. Poured rain for a while this evening & threatened thunder storm, but that was just some muttering around the horizon. Neighbor lost a big chunk out of the top of her maple. Looks like the rest is pretty rotten so it may have to go. That will open up another of my shady gardens to more sun. We just have a litter of little dead branches & twigs in the yard, nothing big. Glad everyone else
is weathering the storms.
Kitty, wonderful news on your plant sale.

I am so, so, thankful..and do NOT take our nice weather for granted this
spring. Last year's spring was so HORRIBLE for us and it has been
wonderful
this year. "Please Lord, let this amazing weather continue a little
longer...Amen."

We're fine. The worst of it was last night. Lots of wind, thunder and
lightning, but now past.

Thanks for asking.
