If you have a good insurance company, like Amica, don't hesitate to send in a claim. When we had hail damage last year, we got a check for the house, the car, and the chicken coop, plus some things that I didn't even think were covered, like a grill cover and patio umbrella. And they didn't raise our rates.
If you don't have AMICA, get it. It's the best company ever. My folks were insured by them, and when we got it, you had to be recommended by someone. We've had Amica since 1981 and have had to use the insurance a couple of times. They're absolutely the BEST!
I'm glad you're safe, and that you have somebody who can maybe fix your coop and stuff.

Oh...life is GOOD considering what COULD have happened.  To replace my
chicken house it would cost me $1,200.00.  I don't want to claim it on
my insurance cause they'll just gouge me..and I have a deductable
anyway.  SO - there is a guy down the road that I went to high school
with, that raises chickens builds those portable storage sheds.  Gonna
call him and see if he can come and fix this up for me.  It will be
cheaper than trying to buy a new one.  I am SO not a handy person..and
neither is my husband.  I think the frame of the house is still
good..the verigated sheet metal was peeled back like a sardine can,
and one of the doors came off.  So I think I can re-use it.
We are so lucky!!!!  Extremely.  If that is all that happened to
us....I surely cannot complain.  I just hate it when the weatherman
won't just say "tornado".  They have to wait until it's confirmed by
the National Weather people.  And, it's wasn't 90 mph winds...it was
100 mph!!!!
