Well, Pam, your climate is quite different from mine, but normally,
they wake up in response to cooler weather and moisture - so if it's
still hot and dry, that could be why you're seeing nothing, given the
tubers are still there and firm.  

You might want to do a bit of checking to see if they are still with
you:-)
