Re: absent Hummingbirds this year
My transient popualtion of hummers doubled this year to two. I know there
were 2 because one chased the other from the feeder. Before the one
passer-through world eat until he was ready to burst. I sat near the feeder
one afternoon and got the examination you all were talking about. Reminded
me of a story in Smithsonian, entitled "So tiny, so pretty, so MEAN". was a
very informative article. Rich in Z-5 where it was 20 this morning.
