Re: Happy Thanksgiving
But I understand from a History Channel program last night (I got to watch
about 5 minutes of it in pieces between dh's channel surfing) that it was
Abraham Lincoln, some months after Gettysburg, who made it an official
(legislated) holiday occurring the 4th Thursday of November?
More fun facts: Super Bowl Sunday is the second largest grocery store
event, after Thanksgiving. Probably for Sam Adams (beer), too.
And seriously: thank you, Donna, for the warm and heartfelt thoughts -
Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
