Re: Hey
Two weeks ago I shredded several mountains of leaves. To save time I
shredded and just dumped the bag on a bed with the intention of spreading
them 3 days later. However, I got called out of town for a week and
returned just in time to go back to work. 3 days after that was my day off
but I could do nothing since it poured the entire day. Then Thanksgiving and
back to work. So. Today was my first available day to work on that 2 wk old
pile of shredded leaves that had sat in several long downpours in a southern
exposure. Just as I expected, the pile was dry and HOT. So before I could
spread it I had to work to get the heat out. About 100 trips later the
shredded leaves have been spread everywhere - thin enough not to heat up but
thick enough to help insulate. I finished as it was getting dark. Feels
good to finally catch up on something!
