Medicap Systemic tree care

Has anyone used the Medicap Systemic tree products?
I got a label from a great gardening friend yesterday. He told me that he used the iron implants on his oak trees to cure the yellowing. He is using it on pine trees to control the diseases they have.
What do you all think? I found a site to look it all up on.
