Donna, I'd have been more inclined to root them in a medium other than
water. I'd have also used some rooting hormone to help encourage them to
put out roots.

BTW, I took some cuttings from my fancy geraniums. Odd that one variety has
been in water for 3 weeks and not one root has appeared- still alive and
looking well in it's jar of water, but I don't understand it, thoughts
anyone? The others are doing fine and putting out roots- need to pot them
up.
